| Description | IL-8ra (9-29) also called Interleukin-8 receptor antagonist (9-29), is a peptide with the sequence of Ac-MWDFDDLNFTGMPPADEDYSP-NH2 derived from a single extracellular subdomain of the IL-8 receptor, it was shown to be a potent inhibitor of the IL-8/IL-8 receptor interaction. It inhibited IL-8 binding with Ki = 13 µM. This peptide was also highly selective for IL-8 over C5a. |
