Description H-Met-Ala-Ser-OH is a substrate for human methionine aminopeptidases 1D and 2. For the latter enzyme, Yang et al. determined the kinetic parameters Km 0.38 ± 0.03 mM and kcat 210 ± 5 min-1 at pH 7.5 and 30°C for the tripeptide MAS.
