Description cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase Inhibitor-α (5-22) amide (human, mouse, rabbit, rat) also called PKI-α (5-22) amide (human, mouse, rabbit, rat), Wiptide, cAMP Dependent PK Inhibitor (5-22), amide, is the active inhibitory fragment of the inhibitor of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). It is a cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor. cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase Inhibitor-α (5-22) amide inhibits PKA activation, but fails to attenuate homologous desensitization of CRF1 receptors.
