mC46 (C46) peptide is a membrane-associated fusion peptide inhibitor. mC46 peptide potently inhibits HIV-1 replication and entry. mC46 peptide also inhibits CCR5-tropic, CXCR4-tropic and bi-tropic HIVs, SIV and SHIV.
