Tubulin inhibitor 49 (Compound 18) is a tubulin polymerization inhibitor with IC50 of 48 μM. Tubulin inhibitor 49 can disrupt the cellular microtubule network, arrest the cell cycle at the G2 phase, and exhibit cytotoxicity (IC50=8.8 μM in HeLa cells).
