Topoisomerase IIα-IN-10 (Compound 13r) is a topoisomerase IIα inhibitor that binds to the active site of DNA when forming a complex with topoisomerase IIα. This binding is stabilized by interactions with DNA base pairs and amino acid residues. Topoisomerase IIα-IN-10 can inhibit topoisomerase IIα by intercalating DNA to induce apoptosis and disrupt the mitochondrial membrane potential of HCT116 cells, thereby inhibiting the growth of HCT116 cell lines. The IC50 for HCT116 cell lines is 4.37 μM. Topoisomerase IIα-IN-10 can be used in anti-cancer research.

*Note: Please select an appropriate solvent for the preparation of stock solution based on your experiment needs. For most products, DMSO can be used for preparing stock solutions (e.g. 5 mM, 10 mM, or 20 mM concentration); some products with high aqueous solubility may be dissolved in water directly. Solubility information is available at the above Solubility Data section. Once the stock solution is prepared, aliquot it to routine usage volumes and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.
