Biological Activity
| ln Vitro | TAT (YGRKKRRQRRR) denotes amino acids 47–57 of the HIV-1 TAT protein. The positively charged protein transduction domain of the HIV-1 TAT protein (TAT-PTD; TAT residues 47–57) quickly translocates across the plasma membrane of live cells. TAT (YGRKKRRQRRR; TAT-PTD) can traverse the hydrophobic lipid bilayer of a cell membrane via passive diffusion[1]. |

Solubility Data
| Solubility (In Vitro) | May dissolve in DMSO (in most cases), if not, try other solvents such as H2O, Ethanol, or DMF with a minute amount of products to avoid loss of samples |
| Solubility (In Vivo) |
Solubility in Formulation 1: 100 mg/mL (59.74 mM) in PBS (add these co-solvents sequentially from left to right, and one by one), clear solution; with sonication.  (Please use freshly prepared in vivo formulations for optimal results.) |
