Biological Activity
| Targets | IC50: Serpin B9 |
| ln Vivo | Serpin B9-IN-1 (BTCA) inhibits bone metastasis (BM) in multiple tumor metastasis models. Serpin B9-IN-1 (50 mg/kg/d; ip; 14 d) effectively reduced the survival rate and metastatic proportion of metastatic cancer cells in the mouse bone metastasis model injected with LLC1-BM3 via tail artery (CA)[1]. Serpin B9-IN-1 (300 μg/d; ip; 14 d) effectively delayed the average time to bone metastasis (BM) in the LLC1-BM3 cell group[1]. |
| Animal Protocol |
Animal/Disease Models: LLC1-BM3 Bone Metastatic Mouse Model by CA injections[1] Doses: 50 mg/kg Route of Administration: ip; followed after cancer cell injection, injection daily for 14 days Experimental Results: Reduced the survival rate and metastasis proportion of metastatic cancer cells Animal/Disease Models: LLC1-BM3-sr-ctrl Model in Mouse[1] Doses: 300 μg Route of Administration: ip; once daily for 14 days Experimental Results: Delayed the mean time to occurrence of bone metastasis (BM), and lowered the burden of BM in LLC1-BM3-shSB9 cells group. |

Solubility Data
| Solubility (In Vitro) | DMSO : ~100 mg/mL (~613.01 mM; with ultrasonication) |
| Solubility (In Vivo) |
Solubility in Formulation 1: 5 mg/mL (30.65 mM) in 10% DMSO 90% (20% SBE-β-CD in Saline) (add these co-solvents sequentially from left to right, and one by one),suspension solution; with sonication. For example, if 1 mL of working solution is to be prepared, you can add 100 μL of 50.0 mg/mL clear DMSO stock solution and add it to 900 μL of 20% SBE-β-CD saline solution and mix well. 2 g SBE-β-CD (sulfobutyl ether β-cyclodextrin) powder is diluted to 10 mL of saline and completely dissolved until clear and transparent. Solubility in Formulation 2: 5 mg/mL (30.65 mM) in 50% PEG300 50% Saline (add these co-solvents sequentially from left to right, and one by one),clear solution; with sonication.  (Please use freshly prepared in vivo formulations for optimal results.) |
