Biological Activity
| ln Vitro | 173 g of 1,4-piperazinediethanesulfonic acid are dissolved in 1 L of deionized water to create the pH PIPES buffer. Pellets of sodium hydroxide are added to the PIPES buffer to bring its pH down to 6.8. Lipid loss and artifacts caused by glutaraldehyde fixation can be avoided by using PIPES buffer [1]. |
