PARL-IN-2 (Compound 14) is a covalent inhibitor of the mitochondrial inner membrane protease PARL with an EC50 of 0.16 μM. PARL-IN-2 leads to a strong activation of the PINK1/Parkin pathway. PARL-IN-2 promotes PINK1/Parkin-dependent mitophagy.
