OPC 4392 hydrochloride is an agonist of presynaptic dopamine receptors and an antagonist of postsynaptic D2 receptors. OPC 4392 reverses reserpine-induced dopamine accumulation and inhibits stereotypic and climbing behaviors in apomorphine-induced mouse models.
