Biological Activity

ln Vitro N4-Acetylcytidine triphosphate sodium (0.1-2 mM; 24-48 h) suppresses BV2 microglia development [1]. N4-Acetylcytidine triphosphate sodium (0.3–1 mM; 3–6 h) increases the expression of NLRP3 and initiates NFκB signaling [1]. HMGB1 expression is elevated by N4-acetylcytidine triphosphate sodium (0.3–1 mM; 3 h) [1]. (br>
Cell Assay Cell Viability Assay[1]
Cell Types: BV2 microglia
Tested Concentrations: 0.1-2 mM
Incubation Duration: 24-48 hrs (hours)
Experimental Results: Dramatically inhibited BV2 microglia cell growth util cultured for 48 hrs (hours) with a concentration of 0.3 mM.

Cell Viability Assay [1]
Cell Types: BV2 microglia
Tested Concentrations: 0.3 and 1 mM
Incubation Duration: 3 and 6 hrs (hours)
Experimental Results: Increased NLRP3 and NFκB expression at both mRNA and protein levels, activated the NFκB signaling.

Western Blot Analysis[1]
Cell Types: BV2 microglia
Tested Concentrations: 0.3 and 1 mM
Incubation Duration: 3 hrs (hours)
Experimental Results: Induced HMGB1 expression and it is necessary for NFkB signaling, NLRP3 expression and persistent HMGB1 expression.

*Note: Please select an appropriate solvent for the preparation of stock solution based on your experiment needs. For most products, DMSO can be used for preparing stock solutions (e.g. 5 mM, 10 mM, or 20 mM concentration); some products with high aqueous solubility may be dissolved in water directly. Solubility information is available at the above Solubility Data section. Once the stock solution is prepared, aliquot it to routine usage volumes and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.
