HDAC-IN-82 (Compound 18b) is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor with selective anti-plasmodium and anti-cancer activities. HDAC-IN-82 exhibits potent anti-proliferative and caspase 3/7 activity in tumor cells. HDAC-IN-82 causes hyperacetylation of histone H3 and α-tubulin.
