| Additional Infomation |
1-O-feruloyl-beta-D-glucose is a beta-D-glucoside resulting from the formal condensation of the carboxy group of ferulic acid with the anomeric hydroxy group of beta-D-glucose. It has a role as an antioxidant and a plant metabolite. It is a beta-D-glucoside, a cinnamate ester, a member of phenols and an aromatic ether. It is functionally related to a ferulic acid. 1-O-feruloyl-beta-D-glucose has been reported in Camellia sinensis, Ligustrum obtusifolium, and other organisms with data available. |
