FerroLOXIN-1 is a potent inhibitor of 15LOX-2 that selectively blocks the production of pro-ferroptotic HOO-ETE-PE and prevents RSL3-induced ferroptosis. FerroLOXIN-1 interacts closely only with 15LOX-2, especially with Y154, N155, and W158.
