DefNEtTrp is an iron bichelating ligand composed of two groups, Def and Trp. DefNEtTrp exhibits potent broad-spectrum antiproliferative and cell death behaviors in cancer cell lines. DefNEtTrp induces apoptosis and ferroptosis and is cytotoxic with an IC50 value of 0.77 μM.
