Danvantisen is an antisense oligonucleotide targeting STAT3 with potential anti-tumor activity. Danvantisen binds to STAT3 mRNA, thereby inhibiting the translation of the transcript. Inhibiting the expression of STAT3 can induce tumor cell apoptosis and inhibit tumor cell growth.
