Cyclic(YCDGFYACYMDV) is a HER2 signaling inhibitor with anticancer activity. Cyclic(YCDGFYACYMDV) self-assembles into nanoparticles in aqueous solution and transforms into nanofibrils by targeting HER2 on cancer cells, disrupting HER2 dimerization and subsequent downstream signaling events, leading to cancer cell apoptosis. This inhibitory effect on HER2 breast cancer has been shown to be effective in a mouse xenograft model.
