7-Deazaxanthine (7DX) is a thymidine phosphorylase (TPase) inhibitor. 7-Deazaxanthine inhibits TPase reaction in a concentration-dependent manner with an IC50 value of 40 μM. 7-Deazaxanthine also has a significant angiogenesis inhibitory effect.
