(2R,3R,4S,5R)-2-(6-amino-9H-purin-9-yl)-5-(hydroxymethyl)-4-methoxytetrahydrofuran-3-ol (Adenosine, 3'-O-methyl- (8CI)(9CI)) is an adenosine nucleoside analog. Adenosine analogs are mostly used as smooth muscle vasodilators and have also been shown to inhibit cancer progression.
