3-Amino-4,6-dimethylpyridine (5A-DMP) is a UHRF1 inhibitor that targets the Arg-binding cavity of the UHRF1 TTD domain. 3-Amino-4,6-dimethylpyridine interferes with DNA methylation by blocking the interaction between UHRF1 and LIG1, and can be used in cancer research.
