12-Bromododecanoic acid is a bromofatty acid. 12-Bromododecanoic acid can be used to synthesize a clickable form of myristic acid. 12-Bromododecanoic acid inhibits HIV replication in CEM-SS T cells (EC50 = 38 µM).
