Description (S)-MCPG ((+)-MCPG) is a class I/II metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) antagonist that blocks spatial learning and long-term enhancement of the dentate gyrus in vivo in rats, and can be used to study neurological disorders.
In vivo 在进行 Morris 水迷宫学习的雄性 Lister-Hooded 大鼠中,(S)-MCPG(20 μg;脑室内注射;4天)削弱了大鼠在 Morris 水迷宫空间版本中的表现,但 1/10 的剂量则没有影响[2]。
