Description Neuropeptide W-23(human) (NPW-23) is an endogenous ligand for NPBW1 and NPBW2.
In vitro NPW-23通过GPR7增强转染的人胚肾293细胞和血管平滑肌细胞(VSMCs)中的ICa,L,这可能与血管高血压的发展有关。NPW-23提升全面磷酸化PKC的表达、细胞内二酰基甘油水平,以及由PLC[1]催化的第二信使。
In vivo NPW-23提高大鼠肠系膜动脉的压力诱导血管张力。值得注意的是,高血压大鼠中NPW的表达降低[1]。NPW-23(0.3 nmol、1.0 nmol及3.0 nmol)在清醒状态下自由活动的雄性大鼠中显著增加平均动脉压(MAP)。接受1.0或3.0 nmol NPW-23的大鼠表现出总活动量、运动活动量和立体行为持续时间的显著增加。在用酚妥拉明预处理的大鼠中,NPW-23未能提高MAP。通过orexin类型1受体(OX1R)拮抗剂SB-408124预处理,NPW-23诱导的总活动量、运动活动量和立体行为持续时间显著减少,这表明orexin神经元是NPW的下游靶点[2]。
