Description Moenomycin complex is a mixture of moenomycins A, A12, C1, C3 and C4, which are antibiotics isolated from several strains of Streptomyces that directly inhibit bacterial peptidoglycan glycosyltransferases. [1] The minimal inhibitory concentration of moenomycin A against various Gram-positive bacteria ranges from 1-100 nM.[1]
