Description Methoprene (ZR-515) is a juvenile hormone (JH) mimic and a biological pesticide. Methoprene acts as an insect growth regulator interfering with the lifecycles of insects and preventing insects from reaching maturity or reproducing.
In vivo Methoprene 影响首次孵化时间,表现为明显的浓度依赖性反应,无效应浓度(NOEC)为32 nM。Methoprene 按照2段线性模型减少繁殖能力,阈值分别为24 nM 和 ≤0.18 nM。
