Description Maltooctaose, a defined maltooligosaccharide with a specific length, can be enzymatically synthesized using Pyrococcus furiosus thermostable amylase (PFTA).
In vitro PFTA ( Pyrococcus furiosus ) is a very special enzyme that caneasily open up the certain cyclodextrin molecules to produce specific-length maltooligosaccharides, particularly maltohexaose, maltoheptaose, and maltooctaose[1].
