Description L-Alanosine inhibits adenylosuccinate synthetase. L-Alanosine is an antibiotic from Streptomyces alanosinicus with antineoplastic activity. L-Alanosine blocks the common de novo purine biosynthesis pathway and, thereby, inhibit tumor cells with MTAP deficiency.
