Description Eperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant and antispastic agent utilized in the treatment of conditions distinguished by muscle stiffness and pain. Its mechanism of action involves the relaxation of skeletal muscles and vascular smooth muscles, resulting in a range of beneficial effects including reduction of myotonia, enhancement of circulation, and suppression of the pain reflex. Additionally, Eperisone exhibits inhibitory properties on the pain reflex pathway and exerts a vasodilator effect.
