Description DFAME, a red fluorophore with excitation and emission wavelengths of 508 nm and 641 nm respectively, forms complexes with two dimeric fluorogenic RNA aptamers, Beetroot and Corn. The binding affinities of Beetroot-DFAME and Corn-DFAME are characterized by dissociation constants (Kd) of 460 nM and 3600 nM, respectively. These complexes facilitate the construction of RNA assemblies within living cells, which are instrumental for investigating RNA nanostructures. The study of DNA/RNA nanostructures is pivotal for advancing cell and gene therapy (CGT) research [1].
