Description Desethylamiodarone hydrochloride (N-desethylamiodarone hydrochloride) is formed by the CYP3A isozyme. Amiodarone is an antiarrhythmic drug that inhibits ATP-sensitive potassium channels with an IC50 of 19.1 μM. It is the main active metabolite of amiodarone.
