Description 5-Deoxystrigol is a highly active Striga germination stimulant. It has a protective effect on D-galactosamine (D-GalN) induced mice acute liver injury and has a protective effect on CCl4 induced mice acute liver injury.
In vitro Striga 是对非洲和亚洲半干旱热带高粱生产的一大生物限制因素。遗传抗性是最经济可行的控制措施。LGS1(LOW GERMINATION STIMULANT 1)位点的突变等位基因极大地降低了Striga萌发刺激活性。方法与结果:我们提供的证据表明,LGS1位点的责任基因编码一个被注释为硫酸转移酶的酶,并显示该基因的功能丧失导致根分泌物中主导的strigolactone(SL)从高活性Striga萌发刺激物5-Deoxystrigol变为具有相反立体化学特性的orobanchol。尽管高粱中以前未报告过orobanchol,但它在正常生长和环境响应性所需的多种SL角色中发挥作用,而不刺激Striga的萌发。结论:本项工作描述了一个调控Striga抗性的基因的鉴定及由突变引起的保护化学作用。
