Description 2,4,6-Trimethylphenol (Mesitol), primarily reacting with organic matter (3 DOM*), is a probe compound that undergoes rapid oxidation by singlet oxygen in aqueous solutions.
In vitro 过氧化物底物,即儿茶酚(CAT)和2,4,6-Trimethylphenol (TMP)被用来研究由氯过氧化物酶(CPO)促进的响应氯离子的反应。只有在氯离子存在的情况下,TMP才表现出消耗。而TMP在与CAT的竞争中表现为竞争性抑制剂,但在氯依赖性CPO催化的过氧化反应中,TMP存在时CAT的抑制模式发生了变化。在直接竞争研究中,随着氯离子浓度从1.0 mM升至400 mM,氯依赖性CPO反应中TMP对CAT的消耗比例显示出增长。[3]
