Description (±)-Taxifolin ((±)-Dihydroquercetin) is the racemate of Taxifolin, a flavonoid commonly found in onion, silymarin, French maritime pine bark, and Douglas fir bark, with anti-tyrosinase and anti-fibrotic activity.Taxifolin is an inhibitor of collagenase, with an IC 50 value of 193.3 μM. Taxifolin is a free radical scavenger with antioxidant capacity.
In vivo Taxifolin(10 mg/kg;AD模型小鼠)处理显著阻止了Aβ42降低PSD 95表达水平的现象。活细胞成像研究显示,Taxifolin预处理2小时有效防止了Aβ42寡聚体导致的树突棘和突触小脚数量减少。[3]
