Description N-acetyl-D-Lactosamine (N-Acetyllactosamine) is a disaccharide consisting of galactose and N-acetylglucose, which is an important component of various oligosaccharides and can be used as a starting material for the synthesis of various oligosaccharides. N-acetyl-D-Lactosamine may be used as a structural element naturally in various sugar conjugates and can also be used to characterise lectins, which have probiotic effect.
In vitro N-acetyl-D-Lactosamine(10 microg/ml)对人类外周血单核细胞具有强大的促进分裂作用。[3] 而N-acetyl-D-Lactosamine(100 microg/ml)对SiHa(人类宫颈)癌细胞系显示出50%的生长抑制效力。[3]
