Description Lasalocid sodium (Lasalocid-A sodium) is a cationic ionophore antibiotic obtained from Streptomyces lasaliensis that, among other effects, dissociates the calcium fluxes in muscle fibers. Lasalocid sodium is used as a coccidiostat, especially in poultry.
