Description Acanthoside B is a lignan with anti-inflammatory and anti-amnesic effects. Acanthoside B can be used for studies about Alzheimer's disease and lung inflammation.
In vitro Acanthoside B has inhibitory effects on the allergic inflammation[1].
In vivo Acanthoside B restores the cholinergic activity, decreases the endogenous antioxidant status, suppresses neuroinflammation, and activates the TrkB/CREB/BDNF pathway thereby attenuating Scopolamine inflicted AD-like amnesic traits in mice[2].
