Description 3-Oxotirucalla-7,24-dien-21-oic acid is the first known compound isolated from Polygonum spp. and can be obtained from the roots of Black Cohosh. 3-Oxotirucalla-7,24-dien-21-oic acid showed potent cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cell lines.
In vitro 3-Oxotirucalla-7,24-dien-21-oic acid 从 Luvunga scandens (Roxb.) Buch-Ham ex Wight & Arn, Rutaceae 的二氯甲烷提取物中分离得到。通过MTT测定法评估了3-Oxotirucalla-7,24-dien-21-oic acid 对人乳腺腺癌细胞系(MCF-7)的细胞毒性潜力。结果显示,3-Oxotirucalla-7,24-dien-21-oic acid 对MCF-7细胞系表现出强烈的细胞毒性,IC50值分别为27.5 μM,从而表明其作为抗肿瘤剂的潜力。[1]
