Bioactivity Robenidine-d8 (hydrochloride) is the deuterium labeled Robenidine hydrochloride. Robenidine hydrochloride is an anticoccidial agent which is also active against MRSA and VRE with MIC50s of 8.1 and 4.7 μM, respectively.
Invitro Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1].
