Bioactivity | PFB-FDG is a non-fluorescent galactosidase substrate that can be hydrolysed to green fluorescent PFB-F (Ex=485 nm, Em=535 nm). PFB-FDG can be used for the determination of β-galactosidase activity[1]. |
Invitro | Guidelines (Following is our recommended protocol. This protocol only provides a guideline, and should be modified according to your specific needs).Measurement of β-galactosidase activity[1]:1. Incubate 2 × 105 cells with 50 µg/mL of PFB-FDG in serum-free DMEM containing 25 mM Hepes (pH 7.4) for 2 h at 37℃. (Mononuclear cells for example, different cell concentrations vary)2. Wash cells once with ice-cold PBS.3. Analyze cells by flow cytometry (Ex=485 nm, Em=535 nm). |
