Bioactivity | Bitis Nasicornis Venom (Rhinoceros Viper Venom) is a snake venom that can be obtained from Bitis Nasicornis. Bitis Nasicornis Venom has anticoagulant activity. Bitis Nasicornis Venom also has insulinotropic effect, and can be used for the research of diabetes. Bitis Nasicornis Venom can increase in intracellular Ca2+ concentration and hence a contraction of the the isolated aortic strip in rabbit[1][2][3]. |
