Antibacterial agent 98 inhibits the ATPase activity of Gyrase B and impairs Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus ) DNA supercoiling. Antibacterial agent 98 shows antibacterial activity and not induce resistance development of MRSA (methicillin-resistant S. aureus)[1]. |
Invitro | Antibacterial agent 98 (compound g37) shows antibacterial activity with an NICs of 0.1 μg/mL for S. aureus ATCC29213 and an IC50 of 0.15 µM for GyrB[1].Antibacterial agent 98 shows cytotoxicity with IC50s of 55.3, 38.8 µM for HepG2, HUVEC cells, respectively[1]. |
