Bioactivity (±)-Duloxetine-d3 (hydrochloride) is deuterium labeled (±)-Duloxetine (hydrochloride). (±)-Duloxetine ((Rac)-Duloxetine) hydrochloride is the racemate of Duloxetine hydrochloride. Duloxetine hydrochloride, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, can be used for diabetic neuropathic pain and fibromyalgia as well as major depressive disorder research[1].
Invitro Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1].
