Literature References: Prepd by treating dry lithium aurichloride Li(AuCl4) with hydrogen sulfide at -10°. The reaction product consists of HCl, lithium chloride, and auric sulfide. Properties: Black powder. Heating to 200° dec it into its elements.

Use: In photography.
