Literature References: The bismuth content of the complex salts of bismuth and alkali tartrate may be made to range within wide limits (35-75% Bi). The article generally used contains 70-74% bismuth. Properties: Odorless, tasteless powder; discolors in light. Sol in about 3 parts water. Insol in alc or other organic solvents. The aq soln is slightly alkaline.
