| Description | Mca-Pro-Leu-Ala-Nva-Dap(Dnp)-Ala-Arg-NH2 also called MMP-2 Substrate, Fluorogenic. Among the fluorescent peptide substrates analyzed, the FRET substrate Mca-Pro-Leu-Ala-Nva-Dpa-Ala-Arg-NH2 displayed the highest specificity constant with MMP-26 (kcat/Km = 3.0 · 10⁴ M-1s-1, pH 7.5, T = 25 °C). The fluorescence was measured at an excitation wavelength of 328 nm and emission wavelength of 393 nm. |
