Description (Lys8)-Vasopressin also called Lypressin, LVP, Terlipressin (4-12), is a compound with reduced vasopressor and antidiuretic activity, as compared to AVP. (Lys8)-Vasopressin is antidiuretic hormone that have been found in pigs and some marsupial families. (Lys8)-Vasopressin induces contraction of the rabbit urinary bladder smooth muscle, activate adenylate-cyclase.
