Description H-Gly-Gly-Cys-OH has been used as as a substrate for renal sulfhydryl oxidase (glutathione oxidase). H-Gly-Gly-Cys-OH inhibits carboxypeptidase U (thrombin activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor, TAFI), though less efficiently than GC; Ki = 0.99 μm.
