| Description | CKS-17 is a peptide with the sequence of LQNRRGLDLLFLKEGGL, it corresponds to a highly conserved region of the immunosuppressive retroviral envelope protein p15E. CKS-17 has been shown to inhibit lymphocyte proliferation, B cell activation, natural killer cell cytotoxicity, and monocyte-mediated tumor cytotoxicity. S.Haraguchi et al. demonstrated that CKS-17 induces rises in intracellular cAMP levels that may affect several physiological cellular functions. |
