Description | BIM-23627 is a somatostatin antagonist. BIM 23627 selectively bound with high affinity to the human somatostatin receptor subtype 2 (hsst2), but was completely inactive in stimulating intracellular calcium mobilization. The IC50 values of BIM 23627 to the five human somatostatin receptor subtypes were 2757 nM (hsst1), 6.4 nM (hsst2), 44 nM (hsst3), 423 nM (hsst4), and 86.5 nM (hsst5). |
